Walls, windows, gates, pillars, stairs, bridges, templates
In order to create the comprehensive and fully modular Japanese Temple tileset for Core, I was able to work closely with Concept Artists, Material Artists and several other Environment Artists.
I was responsible for modeling the geometry, UVing, creating collision meshes, chosing, modifying and applying Core materials created by material artists, importing and setting up the assets for use in Core through Unreal, testing and finally creating ready-to-use architectural templates to use within Core. During the entire process, the Environment team worked closely to ensure all pieces of the modular building kit fit together seamlessly. All based off original concept art by Jordan Louie, materials by Sasha Rassvet and James Braley, props and templates by Brendan Mauro, Josh Michael Tyler, and myself.
The pieces I created include the exterior temple walls (red and white), window frames, inserts and wall extensions, columns with toppers courtyard wall gate (red, in brown and white wall), gate door, column with base and topper, complete staircase and bridge kit, torii gate kit, and pagoda template.
